8.30–9.00am - Welcoming the children and parents. Children attending Early Morning Club arrive at 8.30am, other children arrive at 9.00am. Children self-register by picking a hand with their name from the board.

Children settling down with their chosen Montessori activities supported by a Montessori teacher.

Additional activities set on the carpet (construction toys, playdough table, art corner etc.).

9.00am - 12.00pm - Montessori work cycle: group and individual Montessori activities (practical life, sensorial, maths, cultural subjects, literacy), sound of the week. Child led/teacher directed.

Free flow snack available from 9.45am.

Supervised free flow outdoor play/physical activities.

Free flow story time.

12.00 - 12.20pm - Supervised lunch time.

12.20 - 12.40pm - Free play, role play.

12.40pm - 13.00pm - Carpet time show and tell: news from home. Talking about the weather/season and topic of the week.

Action nursery rhymes, playing musical instruments.

Goodbye song.

13.00pm - Parents arrive to collect children leaving at 1pm.

13.15pm - Registration - Free play.

13.30pm - 13.45pm - Quiet time/story time/ nap time.

13.45pm - 14.45pm - Additional Montessori activities.

Monday and Thursday - Forest school activities and outings to the local woods with our fully qualified Forest School Leader.

Free flow snacks available from 14.00pm.

14.45pm - 15.00pm - Nursery Rhymes. Goodbye song.

15.00pm - Opening doors for the parents to pick up children.
