Meet Our Team

Our staff are at the heart of Dulwich Montessori Nursery & Forest School. We are proud to have a warm, experienced and well-qualified team who are committed to creating a happy, nurturing and stimulating environment in which every child can thrive.

Our practitioners take time to get to know each child as an individual — their interests, personality, strengths and developing needs. This allows us to support children at their own pace while encouraging the independence, confidence and curiosity that are central to the Montessori approach.

Each child is allocated a key person, who takes particular responsibility for helping them settle, building a close relationship with their family and supporting their individual learning and development.

All members of our team undergo the appropriate DBS and safeguarding checks and take part in regular professional development. Training includes safeguarding, paediatric first aid, health and safety, food hygiene and other areas relevant to early years practice.

We place great importance on continued learning. Our staff regularly undertake further qualifications and specialist training in areas including Montessori education and Forest School, helping us continually develop the experiences we offer the children.

Most importantly, our team is friendly and approachable. We value strong partnerships with parents and believe that children benefit most when nursery and home work closely together.
